Noah Samuel is my name and I am a PhD student at the iSchool, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. I joined the program Fall 2015 and currently working with Professor Kate Williams and a team of other researchers within the Community Informatics Research Group where our focus is on user experience with Information and Communication Technologies in several community settings. I am passionate about research that increase access to Information Technologies among underrepresented group and so my desire within the broader field is on research that examines technology usage among these group. Specifically, my research interests lie in the intersection between people and technology; I am interested in users' experience as it relates to technology use within the context of Community which spans across the physical communities as well as geographically dispersed ones that are only associated through the digital space.
